New Beginnings

Very exciting times lay ahead for me and the boy! Even though it’s still only May, I feel like it’s nearly the end of a year for me. So many things are starting and wrapping themselves up at the moment. To begin with, it is only a few days until Stuart has finished his degree completely! And to add to this achievement, he has only gone and got himself a fantastic job which he starts very very soon! He also has bought his very own car - no more trips home from the supermarket on the bus, laiden with carrier bags for us!

For me, I am nearing the end my second year of uni. I have worked incredibly hard this year and now just one more essay and a few exams to go.  I also had to pick my courses choices for next year which is very exciting. The one I’m most looking forward to is ‘Fairy Tales and other Utopias’. Illustrated books such as Alice and Wonderland are on the reading list - what a joy to be studying those!

And finally, for both of us, we get to head out on the search for a flat very soon. Our very own flat which we can keep lovely and tidy. Like Stuart’s mum said, I think my nesting instinct is getting very strong!

I apologise for the excessive use of exclamation marks - I think it just highlights my excitement!

So here’s to new beginnings and happy endings.

what wonderful new beginnings! I am excited for you! I too feel like May is wrapping up a chapter! :)

What a nice feeling when things start falling into place. Congratulations to Stuart on the new job and lots of luck to you on the last of your studies!

Very exciting indeed! Best of luck to you and your bf and I hope your happiness continues. :-D

Come see some fun on my blog this weekend!! :) I don’t want you to miss out!

Don’t ever apologize for using exclamation points! You are allowed to be excited and it’s a joy to read. Not having to ride the bus!!!! That’s an awesome feeling! (see, I’m sharing your excitement! giggle) Your OWN FLAT!!! Nesting is tremendously fun and I’m sure you will enjoy. P.S. - my wine glasses are going to be permanently sold in a local, upscale wine shop! I’m so excited!!! I’ve got to get crackin on more designs!!! yippee! We are both excited. :)

Congratulations to your bo, and wheels, it don’t get no better than that. But those bus journeys on rainy days with heavy bags and loo roll will make you appriciate your shopping trips so much more! Your course selection looks very exciting and inspiring too :)

Got thrills and chills and felt your exclamation points (all in the right places)reading your post = sharing in your excitement and wishing you both every good and special wish….Brightest of Blessings!
Our boy is home from college until August, we can not believe his first year is already behind him….time goes so fast….just wait until you’re older (wink wink) you’ll feel it too!
