Sugar And Spice

With Mothers Day approaching and Etsy being my latest obsession, I decided that combining the two could only ever result in the perfect gift.

For those of you who have yet to stumble across it (shock horror!), Etsy is an amazing community to buy or sell all things handmade. The items on sale are always adorable and range from greeting cards to wonderfully smelling cosmetics. They also have the added bonus of not being ridiculously expensive and most sellers are prepared to ship their items to the UK at little expense.

Before leaving you with some items I found that would be perfect for Mothers Day, I must issue a warning about Etsy – it is extremely addictive and you will no doubt be glued to your computer screen for hours on end browsing through the site (but who’s to say that’s a bad thing?!)

Family Laced Photo Album From AmonetteN’s Shop - because what Mother doesn’t like photographs of her children? There is also the advantage of adding your chosen photographs to avoid any embarrassing ones!

Mini Paper Bag Scrapbook from From AmonetteN’s Shop - another photo opportunity

Lavender Gift Set From Jackson Sage’s shop - Smellies are always a hit. Jackson Sage’s shop also includes a full ingredients list so you can make sure your Mum isn’t allergic.

Ten Handmade Guest Soap Assortment From Sweet Usoapia ’s Shop - Because they look cute and smell edible
